Organics Cube Truck Driver — Saskatoon

Our company Disposal North is looking for a driver to run a 5-ton box truck handling organic waste pickups and deliveries around Saskatoon, SK.

What you'll do

• Drive and get trained on a 5-ton box truck for customer pickups and drop-offs

• Use loading docks and a pallet jack to load, haul, and unload palletized containers at the organics processing facility

• Move organic waste pallets weighing up to one ton with a pallet jack, delivering to our company Organics

• Meet customers on site, let them know you've arrived, and help them access pallets for pickup

• Work with other departments to keep daily operations running smoothly

• Handle container and equipment upkeep, and general building or facility tasks when there are no organics collections to run

• Follow safety rules set by the company and by customer sites

Requirements

• Class 5 license with a clean abstract

• Class 3A license preferred, but no experience is necessary

• Good familiarity with Saskatoon and the surrounding area

• City or short-haul commercial driving background preferred

• Experience with hydraulic equipment is a plus

• Comfortable working solo or as part of a team

• Strong organizational and logistical abilities

• Solid communication skills

• Must pass a criminal record check
