Non-CDL Truck Driver — Steel Delivery, Mon-Fri Schedule

Our company, Inc., an AISC certified structural steel fabricator and erector serving the DC, VA and MD areas, is hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver to deliver materials to job sites and customers. You'll run routes in company vehicles like pickup trucks, handle loading and unloading, and keep deliveries on schedule and in good condition.

What you'll do

• Drive non-CDL company vehicles, including pickup trucks, on assigned delivery routes

• Load and unload freight, using a forklift when needed

• Keep records of mileage, fuel use and any incidents on the road

• Do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Help clean and maintain vehicles after runs

• Stay in touch with dispatch and field foremen about schedules and delays

• Follow all local, state and federal driving rules

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday.

Pay

Pay depends on your experience and skill level.

Requirements

• Clean driving record

• At least 5 years of driving experience

• Comfortable with route driving and delivery work

• Able to drive a manual transmission

• Freight handling or delivery driving background preferred

• Minimum age 21

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
