CDL-A Port Truck Driver — $27.00/hr, Home Daily

W8 Transport needs a CDL-A port driver in Chesapeake, VA to move shipping containers between local ports, warehouses, and the yard. This is a full-time, no-touch freight role with daily home time.

Pay

• $27.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly

What you'll haul

• Containers moving to and from local ports and warehouse sites

• Container handling within the yard area

• Freight is no-touch

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, manual transmission only

• Minimum 24 months of CDL driving experience; 60 months preferred

• Valid TWIC card

• Hazmat endorsement

• No DUIs or major driving violations

• Strong communication skills, safety focus, and the ability to manage paperwork and work under pressure in busy port traffic

• Must be able to commute to or relocate to Chesapeake, VA 23323
