Non-CDL Reefer Box Truck Driver — $24-$29/hr

Our company needs a reliable, safety-minded driver to run a 24-foot refrigerated box truck on regional and OTR routes. You'll haul refrigerated, temperature-controlled, and general freight, and no CDL is needed since the company provides paid training until you're ready to run the truck on your own.

Pay

• $24.00 to $29.00 per hour

• Several bonus opportunities tied to safety, performance, and reliability

• Extra earnings available if you're open to longer stretches on the road

Home time

• Typically home on weekends, depending on freight and scheduling

• If you'd rather stay out longer, you can choose extended OTR runs for more miles and pay

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated and temperature-controlled freight, plus general freight, in a 24-foot reefer box truck

What the job involves

• Running regional and OTR pickups and deliveries safely

• Watching and managing the reefer unit and cargo temperature

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Securing freight properly

• Keeping logs, bills of lading, and other paperwork in order

• Staying in touch with dispatch, brokers, shippers, and receivers

• Keeping the truck clean and flagging mechanical issues right away

• Following DOT/FMCSA rules and the company's safety practices

Requirements

• A valid driver's license (CDL not required)

• A clean record, free of serious or preventable accidents

• Comfortable driving long distances on highways

• Willing to spend nights on the road when the route calls for it

• Dependable, on time, and a clear communicator

• Box truck or commercial driving background is a plus, but reefer experience isn't necessary since training is provided
