About this job
Our company is looking for a dependable Non-CDL Box Truck Driver for over-the-road delivery routes across multiple locations. You'll handle long-haul deliveries, loading and unloading, and some warehouse support work between runs.
Pay
- $1,100 - $1,250 a week
What you'll haul
- Box truck freight, delivered to multiple locations nationwide
Responsibilities
- Drive long-distance routes following DOT and traffic regulations
- Load and unload cargo with pallet jacks and manual handling, securing loads properly
- Complete pre-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires and safety equipment
- Plan routes with GPS or mobile devices
- Keep accurate delivery, pickup and vehicle logs
- Help with warehouse tasks like inventory and loading when not driving
Requirements
- Valid non-CDL license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience as a delivery or box truck driver preferred
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- Familiarity with DOT rules for commercial vehicle operation
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles a plus
