About this job
Drive and assist on long-distance runs across all 48 states in a forward van. You'll split time between driving and helping out, handling deliveries and move-related tasks as each trip requires.
What you'll do
- Operate a forward van safely over long distances, following traffic laws and safety rules
- Handle delivery runs, making sure goods arrive on time and in order
- Help load and unload items by hand or with material handling equipment
- Use a mobile device for directions, communication and trip paperwork
- Keep the van clean and check it over before and after each trip
- Stay flexible with scheduling, including overnight travel, as trips demand
- Follow safety procedures during all driving and hands-on handling work
Requirements
- Valid non-CDL license with a clean driving record
- Long-distance driving experience is a plus but not required if you're willing to learn
- Comfortable using a mobile device for navigation and communication
- Physically able to handle manual tasks and operate material handling equipment
- Organized and detail-oriented when it comes to deliveries and moving jobs
- Able to travel extensively, including overnight, across several states
- Professional, reliable and safety-minded
