Non-CDL Local Delivery Driver — Home Nightly, $24–$26/hr

Our company, a family-owned business serving Western Washington and Oregon for over 50 years, needs a non-CDL driver at its Port Angeles depot to deliver milk and ice cream. You'll run local routes to convenience stores, schools, coffee stands, restaurants and other facilities, and you'll be home every night with weekends off. No CDL is required.

Pay

• $24.00 to $26.00 per hour

• 40 hours of paid vacation after one year on the job

Home time and schedule

• Home every night, no weekends

• Some routes offer a 4-day work week

What you'll drive

• Newer model box trucks

Your day-to-day

• Check your truck's fluids, tires and overall condition before heading out, and get repairs scheduled as needed

• Load, place and secure product for your route

• Follow your assigned route (and help refine it over time), unload deliveries, and keep to schedule

• Handle customer questions or complaints, adjusting orders when needed

• Collect payment by cash or check

• Keep your truck clean and safely operated, following company policy and all driving laws

• Log your deliveries, mileage and truck condition using required paperwork

Requirements

• Clean driving record

• About 1 year of delivery or truck driving experience preferred

• Must meet DOT regulations and be able to get a medical certificate

• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test

• Comfortable driving a newer model box truck
