Non-CDL Delivery Truck Driver — Home Daily, $15.61–$23.41/hr

Our company is looking for a non-CDL delivery driver in Richmond, VA to handle local deliveries with no nights or weekends. You'll be home every day and work a set weekday schedule, with occasional overtime.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 6am to 4pm or until the day's deliveries are finished

• Overtime may be required at times

Pay and bonuses

• Pay ranges from $15.61 to $23.41 per hour

• Eligible for a bonus or incentive plan

• Extra earning potential through a safe driving incentive and hourly bonuses

• Wages may start higher depending on local or state requirements

What you'll do

• Deliver materials to customers, helping load and unload, and make sure the delivery ticket goes with the material

• Collect returned items from customers and confirm the product matches before issuing credit

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections, fuel the vehicle, and flag any issues to your supervisor

• Pitch in with warehouse tasks like pulling orders, and receiving, checking, staging and stocking incoming stock

• Follow company safety rules at all times, including correct use of protective gear such as a safety harness rated up to 400 lbs

• Use basic tech tools like an iPad as part of the job

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid driver's license

• Must meet DOT standards and hold (or be able to get) a valid DOT medical card

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude

• Warehouse, logistics, shipping or receiving experience is a plus but not required

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
