About this job

Drive a Mercedes Sprinter cargo van hauling freight across the United States. This is a long-haul, over-the-road position with extended time away from home. No CDL is required.

What you'll haul

You'll run cargo coast to coast in a company-provided Sprinter van. Almost all of your time is spent driving; hand loading or unloading is rare, and when it happens you're paid extra for it.

Schedule

Expect to be out 3 to 4 weeks at a stretch, then get 5 to 7 days off. Workdays run back-to-back with no set loading or unloading times, since that depends on each load's schedule.

Pay

You're paid on the books, not in cash. Earnings are figured by taking gross revenue, subtracting fuel costs, then splitting what's left 60/40 between the company and you (you get 40%). On average, that works out to $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week, depending on the miles and routes you run.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Reliable and responsible with the vehicle, cargo and paperwork
  • Passport, Green Card, or Employment Authorization

Benefits

  • Company-provided truck
  • Referral program

The hiring carrier's name is shared with you once you apply through the DriverRoll app, where you can message them directly.
