About this job
Our company, a family-owned maintenance supply company with 30 branches nationwide, is hiring a Route Driver to run a box truck on a Monday-through-Friday schedule. No CDL is needed, but you'll need at least a year of box truck experience.
Pay
- $23.00 / Hour, based on verifiable driving experience, plus performance-based bonuses
Schedule
- Full time, Monday-Friday, 7:00am until the route is finished
- Paid holidays off and no weekend work
What you'll do
- Drive a box truck to move products and materials between distribution facilities and other route drivers
- Follow traffic laws and road conditions at all times
- Deliver promptly and accurately while communicating well with company and customer staff
- Check the vehicle daily (fluids, tire pressure and condition) to keep it DOT compliant
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- At least 1 year of box truck experience
- Able to lift more than 60 pounds, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, and carry products up and down steps and ramps
