Non-CDL Box Truck Owner-Operator — 20–25% of Load Rate

Our company Group is partnering with independent contractor drivers to run a 26 ft box truck on interstate freight under the company's authority. You'll haul assigned loads across state lines, handling everything from pickup to delivery as your own operator.

What you'll haul

• Freight loaded into a 26 ft box truck, moved on interstate routes as loads are assigned

• You're responsible for loading, unloading and securing cargo so it doesn't shift or get damaged in transit

Pay

• You keep 20-25% of each load's pay confirmation rate, with the exact percentage set per load based on freight type, distance and complexity

• Settlements are paid out weekly

• Weekly pay ranges from $1,000.00 to $5,000.00

• As the owner/operator, you cover fuel, maintenance and other operating costs unless stated otherwise

What the job involves

• Planning routes with multi-state rules, tolls and fuel stops in mind

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip DVIR inspections

• Keeping accurate logs for deliveries, bills of lading, mileage and hours of service

• Staying in touch with dispatch about load status, delays or problems

• Following FMCSA/DOT interstate rules, including hours-of-service limits

• Being ready for trips that run multiple days, including overnight stays away from home

• Keeping the truck in safe working order and flagging issues right away

Requirements

• Non-CDL Class C driver's license, valid and current

• Current DOT medical certificate

• Clean MVR (motor vehicle record check required)

• Minimum 2 years driving a commercial or box truck

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use dollies or hand trucks

• Familiar with FMCSA rules and hours-of-service requirements

• Must pass a DOT drug and alcohol clearinghouse screening

• Able and willing to travel multi-state, including overnight or multi-day runs

• At least 21 years old, as FMCSA requires for interstate driving

Preferred but not required: experience specifically with 26 ft box trucks, familiarity with East Coast or Mid-Atlantic lanes, and no more than 2 points or violations on your record in the last 3 years.
