Non-CDL Box Truck Driver — $800–$1,200/Week

Our company in Sterling, VA is looking for a reliable box truck driver to move freight and electrical goods on local routes. You'll handle a 24-26ft box truck, manage your own loading and unloading, and keep deliveries on schedule.

Pay

• $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Freight and electrical goods in a 24-26ft box truck

• Some loads may include hazardous materials, handled per hazmat rules

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and follow FMCSA and DOT rules at all times

• Map out your routes with GPS to stay efficient and on time

• Load and unload cargo by hand, placing it securely

• Keep accurate records of hours worked, cargo paperwork and delivery details

• Check your truck before and after each trip for safety or maintenance concerns

• Stay in touch with dispatch and customers about schedules, delays or problems on the road

Requirements

• Experience driving non-CDL box trucks

• Comfortable using GPS systems to plan and adjust routes on the fly

• Able to load and unload freight safely by hand

• Know your way around DOT and FMCSA rules, including hazard communication

• Experience using lift gates or pallet jacks for loading and unloading

• Solid, safety-focused driving habits and good customer service
