About this job
Our company is looking for a driver with a non-commercial license to handle box truck routes and support general transportation work. You'll move goods, equipment, and sometimes people, helping keep daily operations on schedule.
What you'll do
- Drive a box truck to move freight from place to place
- Load and unload cargo by hand or with pallet jacks and forklifts, following safety procedures
- Check your vehicle before each trip and flag any mechanical problems right away
- Help with loading, unloading, and equipment handling at warehouses or job sites
- Keep records of hours driven, mileage, deliveries, and vehicle upkeep
- Stay in touch with dispatch and your team to manage schedules and solve issues as they come up
What you'll need
- Experience driving commercially, such as shuttle runs, delivery routes, or school bus work
- Basic mechanical know-how to spot and troubleshoot minor vehicle issues
- Comfort with load-and-unload work using pallet jacks or manual methods
- Good communication skills for working with dispatchers, teammates, and clients
- Ability to handle different commercial vehicles, including box trucks and flatbeds
- A plus if you have experience with forklifts, tow trucks, or tankers, or know safety rules for heavy haul, heavy equipment, or military vehicles
Pay
$4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month, full-time.
