About this job
Our company, an independent service provider for FedEx Ground, needs dependable delivery drivers for local routes out of its West Lebanon terminal. No CDL is needed, and you'll be back home every night after finishing your route.
Pay
- $200-$220 per day, depending on experience and performance
- Paid weekly
- Chances to pick up extra days or overtime
- Room to grow into higher pay and more responsibility over time
Schedule
- Full-time, five days a week
- Shifts usually begin around 8:30-9:00 a.m.
- Your day ends once your route is finished
- Expect a busy, physically active shift covering roughly 100-130 stops, depending on the route
What you'll haul
You'll deliver FedEx Ground packages to homes and businesses on an assigned local route, handling everything from checking in at the terminal to scanning each delivery and pickup along the way.
What the job involves
- Sorting and loading your assigned packages at the terminal
- Running pre- and post-trip checks on your vehicle
- Delivering safely while following traffic laws and safety procedures
- Logging every delivery and pickup accurately
- Handling packages carefully to avoid damage
- Keeping dispatch updated on delays or issues
- Treating customers professionally at every stop
- Keeping your vehicle clean and flagging maintenance needs
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Driving record that meets company and FedEx Ground standards
- Must pass a background check, MVR review, drug screen and DOT physical
- Able to lift and move packages up to 150 pounds with equipment or help
- Comfortable getting in and out of the vehicle repeatedly all day
- Able to work independently and communicate well with customers and dispatch
- Reliable and available for the scheduled days
- Prior delivery or driving experience is a plus but not required; training is provided
