About this job
Our company needs an experienced night-shift CDL driver to run Amazon rail freight out of South Gate, CA. You'll haul loads between rail yards, distribution centers, and Amazon fulfillment sites on overnight hours.
Pay
- $1,600 to $1,900 per week
What you'll haul
- Rail freight moving between rail yards and Amazon facilities
Responsibilities
- Drive overnight routes connecting rail yards and distribution centers
- Complete DOT-required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Work with dispatch and yard staff to keep pickups and drop-offs on schedule
- Report any delays, issues, or mechanical problems right away
Requirements
- CDL license held for at least 3 years
- At least 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record and passing background check
- Rail yard or Amazon freight experience is a plus
- Comfortable working consistent overnight shifts
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
