CDL Hazmat Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $28.50–$30.50/hr

This is a local, home-every-night hazmat delivery driving role with our company (POOLCORP) in Santa Clara, CA. You'll run local routes only, loading, securing and delivering hazardous materials safely and on time.

Pay

• $28.50 - $30.50/ Hour plus benefits

• Up to $3,500 in potential annual bonuses

• Guaranteed at least 40 hours per week, even on light delivery days

Schedule

• Start time around 7:00am, working until the day's routes are finished

• Local deliveries only - you're home every night

What you'll haul

• Hazardous materials requiring proper separation and securement during transport

Responsibilities

• Plan efficient routes to hit delivery windows

• Load, unload and secure freight, keeping hazmat properly separated

• Collect payments and record delivery details

• Follow FMCSR and other DOT rules

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs

• Keep the truck clean and presentable

Requirements

• Minimum age 21

• Valid commercial driver's license with HAZMAT endorsement

• Clean driving history: no more than 2 combined violations or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years

• Able to handle items up to 100 pounds

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Experience with Moffett, Skelly or air brakes is a plus
