About this job
Our company is looking for recent CDL-A school graduates to start an OTR driving career with paid training and a trainer to help you get road-ready.
What you'll do
- Drive a Class A tractor-trailer on long-haul routes
- Learn safe driving habits and professional conduct on the road
- Handle pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep your logs and trip paperwork accurate
- Stay in touch with dispatch and driver managers
Pay
- Training is paid
- Once training ends, weekly pay runs $1260 to $1500
- Expect steady miles, averaging 2500 to 3000 per week
Home time
You'll run for two weeks, then reset at home for two days.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Recent grad of a truck driving school with a 120-hour certificate
- Clean driving record and clean background check
- Able to pass a DOT drug screen
