Long Haul Truck Driver — Canada-Only Runs, $7,500–$8,500/Month

Our company, a Western Canada carrier running reefers and dry vans out of Abbotsford, Calgary and Edmonton, is looking for company drivers for cross-Canada routes. Runs cover BC-Alberta lanes (BC-Calgary, BC-Edmonton, Kamloops, Kelowna), Northern BC (Prince George, Prince Rupert, Williams Lake, Terrace, Quesnel) and Highway 3, with both day and overnight trips.

Pay

• $7,500.00-$8,500.00 per month

Routes

• Canada-only freight, no cross-border runs

• Lanes through BC, Alberta and Northern BC, including mountain and winter driving conditions

What you'll haul

• Full truckload freight in reefer and dry van trailers

What the job involves

• Driving long-haul routes safely and getting loads delivered on time and accurately

• Running daily pre-trip inspections and checking the truck's condition along the way

• Loading and securing cargo so it isn't damaged in transit, and managing weight distribution across axles

• Following traffic laws, staying organized with your schedule, and handling the route mostly on your own

• Treating customers well and taking on other duties as needed

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license with a clean record

• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience

• Solid background in long-haul driving, including snow driving, chaining up and winter mountain routes

• Comfortable reading maps and navigating independently

• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair needs

• Good physical stamina for extended time behind the wheel
