Long Haul Truck Driver — BC-CA Route — $6,500–$8,500/month

Our company is looking for an experienced solo driver to run long-haul freight, mainly between BC and California.

Pay

• $6,500.00-$8,500.00 per month

Routes

• Mostly BC-CA, with other regional and national runs as needed

• Solo driver position

What you'll do

• Haul freight over long distances and deliver it on schedule

• Check your truck before and after each trip to confirm it's safe and compliant

• Load and unload freight, using a forklift or other equipment when required

• Strap down and secure loads so nothing shifts or gets damaged in transit

• Keep your logs, delivery records and paperwork accurate and up to date

• Stay in touch with dispatch, clients and teammates about schedules and any problems on the road

• Handle basic mechanical troubleshooting or repairs when needed to keep the truck running

• Follow hours-of-service rules and all other transportation regulations

• Help out with warehouse freight handling and equipment work between trips

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial driving experience, long-haul preferred

• Familiarity with freight handling and safety procedures

• Forklift, heavy equipment or basic automotive repair skills are a plus

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record

• Comfortable and safe operating heavy machinery

• Solid grasp of transportation compliance rules

• Experience with logistics software or electronic logging devices is a plus
