Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, $19.00/hr

Our company in Maywood, IL is looking for a full-time local truck driver to move goods and materials safely and on schedule. You'll be home daily and work about 40 hours a week.

Pay

• $19.00 per hour

• Home daily

• Local routes only

What you'll do

• Drive tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers or refrigerated trailers depending on the load

• Load and unload cargo, including use of equipment like forklifts

• Plan your route and deliver on time while following traffic laws

• Check your vehicle before and after trips, and handle minor repairs if needed

• Keep records of deliveries, mileage, fuel, and any incidents

• Stay in touch with dispatch, customers and your team

Requirements

• Clean, valid driver's license

• At least 2 years of driving experience

• Comfortable with heavy equipment and manual transmissions

• Automotive repair knowledge is a plus

• Good communication, customer service and time management skills

• CDL A preferred

• Must be able to commute to and work from Maywood, IL 60153; relocation required before starting if you're not already local
