Local Truck Driver — $75,000–$95,000/Year

Our company, based in Nova Scotia, is looking for a Local Truck Driver to move freight throughout the Maritimes. You'll handle deliveries safely and on schedule while keeping accurate records.

Pay

• $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

What you'll do

• Drive commercial trucks on local Maritimes routes

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Load and unload freight, using a forklift when needed

• Keep delivery logs and paperwork up to date

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers to coordinate drop-offs

• Follow traffic laws, safety rules and company procedures

• Help with heavy equipment and basic vehicle troubleshooting or repairs as needed

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license with a clean record

• Previous experience driving commercial freight vehicles

• Forklift or heavy equipment experience is a plus

• Basic vehicle maintenance and repair knowledge

• Good communication skills and attention to detail

• Comfortable working independently and managing your own time

• Physically able to load and unload freight

• Familiarity with logistics software preferred
