Local Tire Delivery Driver — $18/hr

Cassidy Tire & Service, a Chicagoland family business operating for over 110 years, needs a Delivery Driver to transport tires and parts to customers and help manage inventory at the warehouse.

Pay

• $18 an hour

What you'll haul

• Tires, wheels and auto parts to customer locations

• You'll also pick up tires and wheels from customers as needed

Responsibilities

• Get products to their destination on schedule

• Check that everything loaded and unloaded matches in size, count and type

• Take payments from customers

• Keep delivery paperwork in order and available for review

• Represent the company professionally and drive safely

• Keep required logs: driving hours, fuel purchases, mileage

• Occasionally run a forklift, pallet jack or order picker

• Help move, stack, count and organize warehouse inventory

Requirements

• At least 3 years driving commercial vehicles

• Minimum age 18

• Valid Class C or Class D license per DOT rules

• High school diploma or GED

• Able to lift up to 125 lbs repeatedly

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Able to travel about 75% of the time for this role

• Comfortable reading and speaking English
