Local Recycling Truck Driver — $29–$31/hr, Training Available

Our company in Delta, BC is looking for a local driver and swamper for residential recycling routes. No Class 5 yet? That's fine — they'll train the right person for the job.

Pay

• $29.00-$31.00 per hour

• Roughly 40 hours weekly

Schedule

• Shifts up to 10 hours, 4 days weekly

What you'll do

• Operate the truck stand-up style from the right side while working as a swamper

• Cover 900-1000 homes each shift

• Follow route maps to navigate through residential neighborhoods

• Check the truck over before heading out, with a working understanding of basic upkeep

Requirements

• Class 5 with an Air Brakes endorsement is preferred, though the company will train a motivated candidate who doesn't have it yet

• Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 lbs and spending most of your shift on your feet
