Local Propane Delivery Driver — Home Every Night

Our company in Moncton, NB is looking for a driver to handle propane deliveries and support service work in the field. You'll report to the District Manager and work closely with the Delivery or Service Coordinator day to day.

Pay

• $25.23 to $31.52 an hour, set according to your experience, skills and location

Home time

• Flexible scheduling designed so field staff are home every night

What you'll haul

• Propane, moved to and from cylinders and stationary tanks for customers

• Includes hooking up hoses, running pumps/compressors, and transferring product between the bulk truck and tanks

What you'll do

• Pick up, load and drop off propane at customer sites, verifying assets as you go

• Flag any changes in your route, customers or call volume to the coordinator

• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, plus site and tank inspections, following all safety rules

• Keep your truck and equipment clean, safe and in good repair, reporting issues promptly

• Represent the company well and build strong customer relationships

• Check load weights against capacity before loading or unloading tanks

• Set and level tanks to meet code

• Help install, service and repair propane appliances and systems under a certified technician's supervision, logging your hours

• Replace valves and lids and keep accurate repair records

Requirements

• High school diploma

• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience

• Valid Class 3 license with a clean driving record

• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly

• Must pass a drug and alcohol screening

• Comfortable using onboard computer systems

• Bilingual in English and French is a plus
