About this job
Our company is hiring a P&D Straight Truck Driver out of its Moncton Terminal to handle local pickups and deliveries across the Greater Moncton area, with occasional tractor-trailer work to support operations.
Pay
- $25.66 an hour
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Home daily
What you'll do
- Pick up and deliver freight to customer locations on time and safely
- Offload freight using proper equipment to avoid damage
- Complete daily delivery paperwork
- Shunt trailers between yard locations
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report any incidents, accidents, or equipment issues
Requirements
- Class 1 license with at least 2 years of safe tractor-trailer and straight truck driving experience in North America
- Clean driver's abstract and criminal record check
- Familiarity with satellite tracking systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to lift and handle freight
