Local Non-CDL Delivery Driver — $45,000/Year Plus Bonuses

Our company in Raeford, NC is looking for a local non-CDL delivery driver to run established routes from their distribution warehouse. You'll drive a box truck under 26,000 lbs GVW, handling deliveries and customer service along the way. Training is provided.

Pay

• $45,000 yearly salary

• Variable pay, overtime and bonuses on top of base salary

• Paid hourly under a flux pay structure

What you'll do

• Run your assigned route and hit customers in the scheduled stop order, adjusting as assignments change

• Check in orders with each customer per their account procedures (DSD, PO#, military, receipt or stamp)

• Unload product into the designated customer area or set pallet displays on the floor

• Collect empty shells, flats, returned pallets, and any damaged or expired product

• Merchandise your stops as directed by management

• Keep the sales and delivery teams updated on issues or opportunities

• Follow company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid Class C/D driver's license that meets company standards

• Comfortable learning the Encompass handheld database system

• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and over 100 lbs occasionally (using a pallet jack or cart)

• Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, crouch and occasionally climb or balance throughout the shift

• Must pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen

Work environment

You'll be outdoors in various weather at times, working in a distribution environment with normal noise levels.
