Local Gravel Truck Driver — $28.00/hr

Our company in Spruce Grove, AB needs a dependable gravel truck driver to haul materials for residential construction jobs around the greater Edmonton area. This is a full-time, permanent, local position.

Pay

• $28.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Dirt, gravel and other construction materials to and from residential job sites

• Loading and unloading using methods that avoid damaging the load or equipment

What you'll do

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Work with site supervisors and crew to coordinate delivery timing

• Keep accurate logs of loads hauled and report any incidents

• Follow all safety rules and company procedures on site

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's licence (class 1 or 3) with a clean record

• 5 years of commercial driving experience under a class 1 or 3 licence

• A clean 5-year driver's abstract

• Able to operate an 18-speed transmission

• Previous experience driving gravel trucks or operating heavy equipment

• Solid mechanical understanding to handle minor vehicle troubleshooting

• Good communication skills and a sharp eye for safety details

• In-town trucking experience

• Must live in or be willing to relocate to Spruce Grove, AB before starting
