Local Flat Deck Driver/Yard Worker — $28–$32/hr

Our company supplies water, irrigation and civil pipe products across BC and is hiring a full-time driver/yard worker for its Kamloops location. You'll handle local deliveries and also run to Lower Mainland suppliers to bring back stock.

Pay

• $28.00-$32.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Civil pipe, plastic septic tanks, wastewater equipment and agricultural irrigation gear

• You'll operate a 1 ton Chevrolet 3500 diesel flat deck hauling a 26-foot gooseneck trailer fitted with pipe racks

Routes

• Deliveries around Kamloops, Merritt, the Nicola Valley and the Thompson Okanagan

• Supply runs to Vancouver and the Fraser Valley

Requirements

• At least a Class 20 trailer endorsement; Class 3 or Class 1 is a plus

• Preferably 3 years or more of commercial driving under your belt

• Solid, CVSC-compliant experience strapping and securing loads on open flat decks

• Comfortable operating a forklift and handling materials
