About this job
This local box truck delivery role has you dispatching from and returning to the Wilmington hub each day, delivering FedEx packages on set routes. No CDL or prior experience is required, and paid training is provided.
Pay
- Up to $180.00 per day
Schedule
- Full-time, 5-6 days a week including weekends (flexible)
- Day shift preferred
- Home daily, dispatched from and returning to the Wilmington hub
What you'll do
- Drive a delivery vehicle to drop off packages at assigned stops
- Load and unload items, lifting up to 150 lbs with a dolly provided on each truck
- Interact with customers and recipients during deliveries
- Keep accurate delivery records and follow your route
- Check your vehicle regularly and report any maintenance issues
- Use GPS, a scanner and a mobile app for clock-in and scheduling
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- No prior experience necessary
- Clean criminal background with no felonies or pending charges
- Clean driving record
- Must pass a drug screen and DOT physical
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Must live in or relocate to the Wilmington, NC 28405 area
