Local DZ Driver — Home Every Night

Our company, an established independent scrap metal processor in Guelph, ON, needs DZ drivers for its growing heavy haul operation. You would run roll-off and lugger trucks on local day runs and be home every night.

Pay

• $26.00 per hour

• Overtime kicks in after 42.5 hours

• Profit sharing

What you'll do

• Run roll-off and lugger trucks hauling scrap metal

• Check your truck before and during each day and handle basic upkeep like fluid top-ups and replacing lights

• Tie down and secure loads safely

• Work with customers, the yard crew and dispatch

• Keep paperwork and scale tickets correct

• Follow all company and customer safety rules

Requirements

• Valid DZ licence

• Driver's abstract and CVOR, with a clean CVOR record

• At least 2 years of DZ driving experience

• Background hauling scrap metal or similar heavy loads

• Experience with an 18-speed manual is preferred (2 years)
