Local DZ Delivery Driver — $45,000–$50,000/yr

Our company, a Canadian-owned stored and renewable energy company, needs a delivery driver in Woodstock, ON. You will bring batteries and other energy products to customers on mostly local routes across Southwestern Ontario, and you will be the face of the company on every stop.

• Base salary of $45,000-$50,000 a year

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Some days start at 5:30 a.m., and overtime is possible when needed

What you'll do

• Run regular delivery routes in a company delivery truck, through city traffic and on the highway

• Check that each shipment is accurate, complete and in good condition before and after it goes out

• Confirm addresses and make sure every scheduled drop is on your load

• Keep your logs and vehicle inspections up to date

• Load and unload the truck or trailer

• Chat with customers, build relationships and point them to the right product

Requirements

• Class DZ licence

• 1-3 years of professional driving

• Experience handling dangerous goods

• A clean personal and/or commercial driving record

• Able to lift 20 kg safely and repeatedly

• Careful with details and product records, safety-minded, and comfortable working on your own

• Background in a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution setting

• Pallet walkie experience and B2B sales or customer service experience are assets
