Local Driver Reclaim — 5 Ton/Box Truck — $21.50/hr

WM is looking for a Reclaim Driver to work out of their Toronto, ON site, starting at $21.50 an hour. You'll drive a company vehicle on a set route, picking up customer product and bringing it back for sorting and processing.

Pay

• Starting wage of $21.50 an hour

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, start time around 7am

• Shifts run 8 to 12 hours a day

• This is a local, home-daily position

What you'll do

• Run your assigned route and visit customer sites to pick up unsaleable or recalled product

• Scan and log collected items with a handheld device and fill out route sheets and daily paperwork

• Load and unload boxes onto pallets and the truck for delivery to a food bank or warehouse

• Follow written route and client instructions, complete logbooks and pre/post trip inspections

• Deal professionally with customers, coworkers and managers

Requirements

• At least 1 year driving a 5 ton or box truck (G license), with 2 years overall experience driving vehicles of at least 3 tons and handling route work preferred

• Valid driver's license; CMV/CDL drivers need a medical card from a certified examiner

• High school diploma or GED and a Class B CDL are a plus

• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing, including random checks

• Job involves standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling and working both indoors and outside in all weather
