About this job
This Edmonton-based moving company is looking for full-time and part-time driver/movers for local and long-distance household moves. You'll need at least a year behind the wheel of a 5-ton (or larger) cube truck and a clean driving record.
Pay
- Hourly rate of $23.00 to $26.00, with reviews every six months that can bump your wage up to $30
What you'll do
- Operate the moving truck safely, complete daily vehicle checks, and follow Canadian transport regulations
- Use GPS to monitor the truck's route
- Refuel the truck at the end of each shift
- Pack, wrap and disassemble furniture as needed, then load and unload the truck
- Treat clients and their homes with care and professionalism
Requirements
- At least one year of experience driving a 5-ton or larger cube truck
- Clean driver's abstract
- Class 5, Class 3, or Class 1 license (valid Canadian license required)
- Able to lift 70 pounds or more throughout the day
- Legally able to work in Canada
