About this job
Global Pipe and Supply needs a delivery driver who also coordinates orders. You will pick and pack pipe, valves and fittings and deliver them to Oil & Gas customers in the region, splitting your time between the warehouse and local delivery runs.
Pay
- $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, full-time
What you'll do
- Get orders picked, packed and loaded for the day's deliveries
- Drive to customer sites and deliver safely and on schedule
- Inspect your truck and trailer before and after every trip
- Keep the warehouse tidy, organized and safe
- Follow each client's PPE and safety rules
- Keep customers happy with friendly, professional service
- Answer to the Dispatch Supervisor and the Branch Manager
What you need
- Able to lift 50+ lbs again and again
- Forklift certification, or willingness to get it; 1 year of forklift experience is required
- A clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a truck pulling a gooseneck trailer
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A passed background check and drug screen
- 1 year of CDL-A experience is preferred; Oil & Gas product knowledge is a bonus
