Local Delivery Driver — $24/hr, Temporary

Our company is hiring a temporary route driver in Williams Lake, BC for up to 12 weeks, paying $24 an hour.

Pay

• $24.00 per hour

• Temporary assignment, up to 12 weeks depending on business needs

• Full-time hours required, working 5 days a week between Monday and Saturday

What you'll do

• Pick up and drop off packages along your assigned route

• Check each shipment to confirm it meets our company's service standards

• Load your van and plan your stops for an efficient route

• Keep packages, equipment and vehicles secure

• Use the dispatch and tracking system to log accurate information

• Answer customer questions about shipping options and pass along sales leads

• Depending on location, you may also help load or unload aircraft or containers

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• No prior experience required, though a year of customer service experience is a plus

• Valid driver's license (such as class 5, G, or 1/AZ)

• No more than two driving infractions or accidents in the past 24 months

• Must pass a review of your driving record and a driving evaluation

• Quebec-based applicants must be bilingual in French and English
