About this job
Our company in Kamloops, BC needs a City 5 Ton Driver to handle local pickups and deliveries, plus warehouse and forklift work. You'll report to the Operations Manager and work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Pay
- $26.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
What you'll do
- Pick up and deliver freight safely and on schedule
- Load the outbound truck and assist with warehouse duties
- Operate a forklift, pallet jacks and power jacks, and lift boxes up to 50 pounds
- Track your work using an ELD and get customer signatures on a tablet app
- Handle paperwork and occasionally work extended hours
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence (air brake certification is a plus)
- Forklift certification
- At least 2 years of delivery driving experience and 1 year in a warehouse or distribution centre
- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must be legally able to work in Canada and communicate in English
