About this job
Our company in Nisku, AB is hiring a Truck Driver for its metal recycling operations. This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime possible.
What you'll do
- Check trucks and trailers for mechanical problems and safety concerns to keep them roadworthy
- Carry out regular preventative maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly
- Follow and support the company's safety program
- Keep your cab tidy according to company cleaning standards
- Drive a range of units including tractor units, lugger trucks, flat deck trucks, Super B high side trailers, roll-off units and dump trailers
Requirements
- At least 2 years of significant experience driving with a class 1A license
- Comfortable operating a manual transmission
- A clean driver's abstract
