Local CDL Truck Driver — Manufacturing Deliveries

Our company Company is hiring a local truck driver to move raw materials and finished products between its manufacturing plants, warehouses and distribution centers in the Dunnville, KY area. You'll keep deliveries on schedule so production and customers aren't held up, while staying on top of safety and compliance along the way.

What you'll do

• Drive company trucks on set local routes, hitting scheduled pickup and delivery times

• Complete pre-trip, en-route and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Load and unload cargo and make sure it's properly secured for transit

• Log deliveries, mileage, fuel use and any delays or incidents

• Stay in contact with dispatch, warehouse staff and management to keep deliveries coordinated and sort out problems as they come up

Requirements

• Valid CDL for the class of truck you'll be driving

• Clean driving record, free of recent violations or accidents

• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening

• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety rules

• Prior local delivery driving experience, ideally in manufacturing or logistics

Nice to have

• Experience with flatbed or other specialized trucks used in manufacturing logistics

• Comfort with GPS and route-planning tools

• Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT transportation and workplace safety rules

• Customer service background for dealing with clients and internal teams

• HAZMAT endorsement or forklift certification
