Local CDL Truck Driver — $1,400–$2,000/Week

Our company in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Local Truck Driver to run daily delivery routes hauling a mix of freight types. You'll handle everything from loading to logging your hours, all within your local area.

Pay

• $1,400.00 - $2,000.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers including reefer units, flatbeds, tankers, and occasionally containers or vehicles

• Freight that may include hazardous materials, handled per FMCSA rules

What you'll do

• Drive assigned local routes using GPS for efficient, on-time delivery

• Load, secure and unload cargo by hand following safe handling practices

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to stay DOT compliant

• Log your driving hours, delivery stops and vehicle upkeep

• Stay in contact with dispatch about routes and any delays

Requirements

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record

• Prior experience driving commercial trucks locally or regionally

• Comfortable with manual transmission and manual freight handling

• Understanding of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat rules

• Experience with reefers, flatbeds, tankers or auto-hauling is a plus; container experience also helpful

• Physical stamina for long hours of driving and loading work
