Local CDL Truck Driver — $1,000–$1,250/week

Our company in New Castle, DE is looking for a local CDL truck driver to run freight on nearby routes. You'll handle loading, unloading and safe delivery of goods while keeping accurate paperwork along the way.

Pay

• $1,000.00 to $1,250.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, which may include refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, and equipment set up for hazardous or dangerous goods

• Cargo that you'll secure and handle yourself using proper loading and unloading methods

What the job involves

• Planning and following routes with GPS to hit delivery windows in your local area

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to catch safety or maintenance concerns early

• Following FMCSA, DOT and hazmat rules on every run

• Keeping delivery logs and other compliance paperwork up to date

• Representing the company well through solid customer service

Requirements

• Valid CDL

• About 3 years of trucking experience preferred

• Comfortable driving a manual transmission truck

• Working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat regulations

• Experience with GPS-based route planning

• Clean driving record with a strong safety track record, whether from local routes or OTR work
