Local CDL Roll-Off Driver — $21–$23/hr

Our company in Freeport, FL is looking for a local roll-off driver to handle waste pickup and hauling routes. You'll drive specialized trucks, keep things running safely, and deal directly with customers along your route.

Pay

• $21.00 to $23.00 per hour

What you'll drive

• Roll-off trucks, plus possibly front loaders, rear loaders, dump trucks, flatbeds and tractor-trailers depending on the day's needs

• You'll load, haul and unload waste containers, following hazmat rules whenever they apply

What the job involves

• Running pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to catch mechanical issues early

• Keeping accurate records of your routes, loads and any incidents or maintenance needs

• Talking with customers during pickups and drop-offs and handling their questions professionally

• Working outside in all kinds of weather, including lifting heavy items safely

• Helping plan efficient routes while staying within DOT and state trucking rules

Requirements

• CDL required, with air brake endorsement

• Experience driving commercial trucks such as front loaders, rear loaders, dump trucks or roll-offs

• Manual transmission experience is a plus

• Solid understanding of waste management and municipal waste rules

• Clean driving record and strong defensive driving habits

• Comfortable doing basic mechanical checks and spotting minor truck problems

• Able to work outdoors and handle physical, hands-on lifting
