Local CDL-B Equipment Delivery Driver — Home Nightly

Our company is hiring a local CDL-B driver in Kelowna, BC to deliver and pick up rental equipment for customers, with the promise of being home every night. Pay runs $27.90–$40.20 an hour depending on experience and other factors.

Pay

• $27.90 to $40.20 per hour, varying by experience, skills and other factors

Home time

• You're home every night since routes are local

What you'll haul

• Heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers, including rollback and dove tail setups, classified under CDL-B

What you'll do

• Pick up and drop off equipment at customer sites

• Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and all applicable safety rules

• Keep accurate driver logs and perform pre-trip inspections

• Recommend additional equipment or supplies customers might need

• Take on other assigned tasks as needed

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record

• High school diploma or GED

• At least 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience

• Able to lift up to 45 lbs regularly

• Strong customer service, teamwork and communication abilities

• Working knowledge of construction equipment and safe operating practices
