Local CDL-B Driver — $29.41–$32.73/hr

Our company is hiring a Class B straight truck driver for local routes based in Henderson, CO. You'll handle freight loading, customer service, and driving duties close to home.

Pay

• Hourly rate between $29.41 and $32.73, increasing on an annual step schedule

• Final pay may depend on your experience and skill level

What you'll haul

• Freight moved in a straight truck weighing 26,001 lbs or more (GVWR)

• Both hazardous and non-hazardous materials

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Class B CDL with no air brake restriction

• Clean driving history

• Must pass a DOT drug screen with no past failures or refusals

• Must pass a company-funded DOT physical and pre-employment test

• Able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, up to 12-14 hours

• Federal Medical Certificate required (or ability to get one), self-certified as Non-Exempt Interstate

• Hazmat and tanker endorsements needed, or obtainable within 90 days of starting

• Comfortable lifting as much as 50 lbs regularly and over 75 lbs occasionally

• Able to sit, climb, bend, twist, and work outdoors in varying weather

• Sufficient English skills to read road signs, talk with customers, and fill out reports

What you'll do

• Drive the truck safely while generating sales leads and serving customers

• Load and unload shipments by hand, forklift, or pallet jack

• Follow state-specific rules for intrastate straight truck operation

• Drive up to 11 hours straight in all weather conditions
