Local CDL-B Delivery Driver — Home Daily

Our company is hiring a CDL-B driver to deliver compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from a Clearwater, FL branch, using a company-provided truck. You'll be home every day, working a steady Monday through Friday schedule starting at 5am.

What you'll haul

• Compressed gas cylinders and related supplies delivered to business customers

Responsibilities

• Inspect your vehicle before and after each shift

• Load and unload cylinders and supplies

• Secure and unsecure cylinders safely during transport

• Deliver to customer sites using a hand cart, with frequent lifting and getting in and out of the truck

• Build friendly, professional relationships with the customers you serve

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT endorsement (or ability to get it within 60 days of hire) and an airbrake endorsement

• Current driver's license, medical card, and required endorsements

• Clean driving history: no more than two violations or at-fault accidents (or one of each) in the past 3 years

• No alcohol- or drug-related driving offenses in the past 7 years

• Able to pass a drug screening and work in a drug-free workplace

• Able to lift 75 lbs and move loads over 125 lbs with equipment assistance

• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience in the past 5 years, or a trucking school completion certificate from within the last 12 months

• Forklift experience is a plus
