Local CDL-A Yard Driver — Home Daily, $24.00–$26.00/hr

Work as a yard driver for our company in Dover, DE, shuttling trailers within a single yard instead of running the road. You stay in one spot for the whole shift, so there's no highway driving, no multi-stop runs and no freight handling.

What the job looks like

• You reposition trailers around the yard and between dock doors using drop and hook moves

• You complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your equipment

• You follow company safety rules and procedures

• You stay in touch with dispatch and yard staff

• You keep your logs and paperwork accurate

Pay

• Starting pay is $24.00 to $26.00 per hour

• A $2.00 shift differential applies depending on your schedule

• Overtime kicks in after 40 hours

• You're paid weekly

• Refer someone and earn up to a $2,000 bonus

Home time and schedule

You're home every day, working a consistent, predictable schedule with set start and end times. There's no highway traffic or long-haul driving involved.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean driving history

• Prior experience driving tractor-trailers

• Able to work outdoors in any weather

• Able to climb in and out of the truck repeatedly during your shift
