About this job
Our company is hiring a yard truck driver in Henderson, KY to shuttle trailers within a single yard location. You'll be home every day, working a steady schedule without highway miles or customer stops.
What the job looks like
- You stay at one site for your whole shift, moving trailers between dock doors using drop and hook methods
- No multi-stop routes, customer deliveries, or significant highway time
- Repetitive, predictable work with set hours each day
- You'll handle pre-trip and post-trip checks, follow safety rules, keep dispatch and yard staff updated, and log your work accurately
Pay
- Starts at $20.50 per hour
- Overtime kicks in after 40 hours a week
- Paid weekly
- Referral bonus of up to $2,000
Home time
- Home every day on a consistent schedule
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean driving history
- Prior tractor-trailer experience
- Comfortable working outdoors in any weather and getting in and out of the cab repeatedly through your shift
