Local CDL-A Yard Driver — Home Daily, $19.50/hr Starting

This yard driver role with our company in Windsor, VA keeps you on one site for your whole shift, shuffling trailers instead of running the highway. You're home every day, and the work is steady and repeatable with no customer stops.

What you'll do

• Shuffle trailers around the yard and between dock doors

• Handle drop and hook work

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Follow safety rules and company procedures

• Stay in touch with dispatch and yard staff

• Keep accurate logs and paperwork

Pay

• Starting at $19.50 per hour, with pay ranging up to $21.50 per hour

• Extra $2 per hour for night shifts

• Overtime kicks in after 40 hours

• Paid every week

• Referral bonus up to $2,000

Home time and schedule

You stay on one yard for the entire shift, so there's no highway driving, no multiple stops, and no freight handling involved. Hours are predictable and you're home daily.

What you'll haul

You'll move trailers within the yard, no customer deliveries or multi-stop routes, just controlled, no-touch yard work.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean driving history

• Prior tractor-trailer experience

• Able to work outdoors in any weather

• Able to climb in and out of the truck repeatedly during the shift
