Local CDL-A Truck Driver — No-Touch Freight, Weekends Off, $28–$33/hr

Drive local routes out of Parkland, WA hauling no-touch freight on a schedule that keeps your weekends free. You'll run a tractor-trailer, keep things moving safely, and get home for the weekend every week.

What you'll do

• Run a manual-transmission tractor-trailer on local routes while following FMCSA and DOT rules

• Navigate using GPS to stay on your assigned route

• Handle loading and unloading using cargo equipment when needed, securing loads like refrigerated goods or vehicle transport units

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks for safety and compliance

• Keep delivery logs, shipment paperwork and inspection records up to date per FMCSA rules

• Stay in contact with dispatch and customers to keep deliveries on track and sort out any problems

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record

• Background in commercial truck driving, including local delivery routes

• Comfortable operating tractor-trailers

• Understanding of FMCSA and DOT rules, along with hazmat and dangerous goods handling

• Hands-on experience loading and unloading freight

• Confident using GPS for trip planning

• Manual transmission experience is a plus but not required - training is available
