About this job
Our company, a food byproduct management company, is hiring a local CDL-A driver in Elizabethtown, Pa. You'll be home every day, hauling different types of trailers and never doing the same thing twice.
Pay
- Starting at $25.00 per hour, based on experience
- Paid every two weeks
- Occasional overtime
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends
- You'll need to be available one weekend per month
- Start and end times shift daily depending on your route and tasks
What you'll haul
- Local routes only, no overnight trips
- You'll run live floor trailers, dump trailers, roll-off trailers and van trailers
- Mostly no slip-seating involved
Requirements
- Class A CDL with at least 1 year of driving experience and a clean DOT record
- Comfortable getting dirty and dusty on the job
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, though not required
- A proactive, adaptable team player who can also work independently and handle changing daily tasks
- Professional conduct with customers, vendors and the public
