Local CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, Drop-and-Hook Freight

Our company is looking for a local CDL-A driver in Elk Grove Village, IL to run a dedicated drop-and-hook retail account. You'll sleep in your own bed every night, choose from day or night shifts, and get two days off each week.

Pay

• Runs $0.63 to $0.70 per mile, or $30 per hour

• Most drivers bring home close to $1,700 a week, with a typical range of $1,400-$1,900

• $300 paid just for completing orientation

Home time

• Back home every day

• New trainees get home on a weekly basis instead

• Two off days weekly, with weekend shifts available if you want them

What you'll haul

• A steady, local retail account serving the Chicago area

• Intermodal trailers on a drop-and-hook setup, no touch freight waiting

• Mix of roller-door trailers and some with lift-gates

Requirements

• Current CDL-A

• At least 21 years old

• If you're new, you'll need a minimum of 120 hours of truck driving school

• No participation in an SAP program and no past DUIs

• Able to clear a DOT physical exam and a pre-employment drug test
